Privacy
What we keep, what we don't.
Last updated: 19 May 2026.
This site is operated by Natalia (the "Operator"), an individual based in Barcelona, Spain, trading as Into The Beauty. This page explains what data is collected when you visit intothebeauty.com, what third parties involved may collect on their own, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
What this site collects
Nothing of its own. intothebeauty.com is a set of static pages: no accounts, no forms, no comment threads, no analytics scripts, and no cookies set by us. The Site does not profile you, retarget you, or share anything about you with advertisers.
The hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard request metadata — IP address, user-agent string, timestamp, and requested URL — for the purpose of serving pages, preventing abuse, and producing aggregated traffic statistics. These logs are retained under Netlify's own retention schedule and are not used by Into The Beauty for marketing, profiling, or resale.
What linked services collect
The Site links out to third-party services that are independently operated and have their own privacy practices, including:
- Substack — newsletter publishing, email subscriptions, reader analytics
- Pinterest — visual discovery, pin save/click analytics
- ShopMy — affiliate-link infrastructure and click tracking
- Instagram — Meta-operated social platform
- Vinted — peer-to-peer resale marketplace
When you click through to any of these services, the receiving service may collect data about you according to its own privacy policy. We have no access to or control over that collection.
Affiliate links
Most outbound product links on the Site, on the Substack newsletter, and on Pinterest pins are affiliate links — primarily through ShopMy. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, Into The Beauty may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Click-through tracking takes place at ShopMy and the underlying retailer; we receive only aggregated commission data. Affiliate participation is disclosed in compliance with FTC guidance (US) and equivalent EU and UK advertising codes.
Email correspondence
If you email hello@intothebeauty.com, we will see your message, your email address, and any information you choose to include. Email is used only to respond to your enquiry and to maintain reasonable records of partnership and press correspondence. It is not added to any mailing list. Correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to an ongoing conversation; older messages are deleted on request.
Your rights under GDPR and UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to the processing of your data
- Request portability of any data you have provided
To make a request, email hello@intothebeauty.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — the Spanish AEPD (aepd.es) for EU residents, or the ICO (ico.org.uk) for UK residents.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data to us through email correspondence, write to hello@intothebeauty.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the Site evolves or as the third-party services we link to materially change their practices. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days.
